STEM is a crucial element for the development of our youth, communities and country. Model aircraft and drones are perfectly suited to teaching these principles, in a fun and exciting way.
We want to inspire and engage with young people to explore careers in STEM, aviation and aerospace to support and encourage their future career choices. Aviation and aerospace needs to be ready for the future and we need different talent, ideas and values to make that happen. Model aircraft and drone building and flying is not only fun and rewarding it introduces you to many of the STEM building blocks essential for moving in to careers in aviation and aerospace.
To assist with this goal we have created the BMFA Flight School, where you can find a number of projects to educate and entertain as well as information on BMFA Outreach activities. You will also see information on the BMFA range of education kits which you can buy from our online shop.
