Do you want to be a record breaker?

New for 2025 we are introducing a new class of Club and Individual member records, these will sit alongside the well established existing FAI and BMFA Records which you can read more about at using the buttons to the right.

These new records are intended to be 'out of competition' records that you can attempt at your own club sites, to promote fun and inclusivity for flyers of all ages and abilities.

Cast your mind back to the hot summer of 2022 and the fun and camaraderie (not to mention the excellent PR opportunities) that was inspired by the BMFA Mass launch record. These new records will give the opportunity for more of that fun and camaraderie. Currently we have a clean slate so you can very easily become a BMFA record holder by establishing a new record. You are only limited by your imagination, safety and lawfulness.

So whether its fixed wing, helicopter or drone, R/C, free flight or control line why not have a go at establishing a new record, then have a go at beating it and any others that are established. Mass launches, most rolls, loops, touch and go’s, inverted limbo passes and anything else you can think of within reason is good to set as a record. Why not get your club to hold a Record breaking day and see how many you can establish or break in a day? Perhaps your Area committee could organise an event too?
