A message from the Editor regarding the BMFA News and the BDF News.

Hi all, you may notice that some change is on the way for the news publications that we generate.

Both the BMFA News and the BDF News rely on contributors for content, and while a steady stream of content has been provided for the BMFA News for model flying over the years, we’ve not received anywhere near enough content to support the BDF News. I’ve done my best to cover as much as I can, but time is not always my friend. So, moving forwards, the decision has been taken to incorporate the BDF News into the BMFA News as a combined publication. As editor I will also be making changes to improve the overall feel of the magazine, as well as cover more content from disciplines that currently don’t get their share of space, so hopefully the updated version will be one that caters for all.

That said, we are still reliant on content being sent to us to share, which is where I hope you will come in.

We need fresh content and new contributors, people that can share what they do, how and why, so that others in our sport/hobby/pastime can also learn and improve their own enjoyment.

If you have information you would like to share such as ‘How To’ type explanations, then I would love to hear from you via editor@bmfanews.org.

As you can imagine, there are some basic rules for content for which you can download from the link below.

I look forward to hearing from you with your content and continuing as your editor for the combined BMFA/BDF News.
