Model Aircraft and Drones are all considered to be "Small Unmanned Aircraft" (SUA), when a SUA is flown for sport or recreation it is model aircraft flying.  There are 3 different types of model aircraft flying, Radio Control (RC), Control Line (CL) and Free Flight (FF), however there is much much more to model aircraft flying than that.
